Office
The office telephone number is 0121 323 2211.  The office is usually open on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, but you can leave a message when there is nobody in the office and we will get back to you.

For general church enquiries please email the office on fomc@talktalk.net.

Location
The church is situated north of Sutton Coldfield on the corner of Lichfield Road (A5127) and Four Oaks Road (A454).  We overlook the roundabout at the entrance to Four Oaks Railway Station. Click for map.  The post code for the church is
B74 2UU.

Parking
Parking is quite limited on the church premises, but there are some spaces there for for Blue Badge Holders.  We also have some parking space in the car park for bicycles.  You get into the church's car park from Lichfield Road (the side of the church facing towards the railway station).

There is also some parking on the Lichfield Road itself near to the entrance to our car park.  On Sundays we have use of the large station car park, but on other days of the week this is usually full.

Public Transport
Four Oaks Railway Station is close by, you can see the church when you get off the train.  The station is on the Cross City Line with a good regular service between Lichfield and Birmingham New Street.  You can check on train times using the journey planner on the National Rail website.

A number of buses stop in Lichfield Road near to the church.  You can find out which buses are best for your journey by using the journey planner on the Traveline Midlands website .

New to our church?
If you haven't been before, or not for a long time, it can be daunting to come to church and we hope the information on our website will help you to know what to expect.  You can be sure of a warm welcome.

When you come into the building to attend a service someone will greet you and will usually offer you a copy of this week's notice sheet and a copy of our welcome booklet if you would like one.  They will be happy to answer any questions you have or help you get your bearings.  There will be some of our church stewards around, who can be recognised by their red name badges and they will also be ready to help.

Times of services can be found on the Worship page.  Most services last around 60 minutes, though the monthly 9.00 am Communion service is a little shorter.  So too is the weekly Wednesday morning service, though not if you have time to stay for a cup of tea and a chat afterwards!

There are always crèche facilities available at the 10.30 am Sunday service.  Older children visiting that service are welcome to join Sunday Club, which runs every Sunday morning except during family services. The person who greets you at the door will be able to introduce you to whoever is running the crèche or or to someone from the Sunday Club team that morning if you wish.

Services are a mixture of prayers, hymns or songs, and readings.  The format of services should make it clear as it goes along what is happening.  Any service books or hymn books you might need will be in the pews already so you won't have to juggle with an armful of books when you arrive.  Generally speaking we only stand to sing and also when the collection has been taken and is being brought to the front of church to be blessed.

Please don't feel obliged to contribute to the collection incidentally - just pass the collection plate on without putting anything into it.  Many church regulars contribute through their bank account so you won't be the only person to do that.

If you come to a 10.30 am service on Sunday or Wednesday you are cordially invited to stay for refreshments after the service.  We hope you will do that.  You will be very welcome.

Access
The main entrance to the church has several steps, but there is level access to the church and its buildings through the door leading directly from our car park.  There are sliding doors there which may be easier for those using a wheelchair or pushing a buggy.  This is also the best access if you are using the church's rooms for a function that is not related to a service.

Have a look at our Building page for more information about the layout of our church building and finding your way around.

Facilities
There is an accessible unisex toilet.  For those with hearing difficulties there is an induction loop in the church and facilities in some of the rooms.  Large print books are available.

Please get in touch with the office if we might be able to help with other needs. We will do our best to assist.
