Sunday Club

Sunday Club is what we call church for our junior members.

We are:

Kindle: the youngest people in our church family, from those in crèche up to around aged three.

Sparklers: church family members aged from around 3 to about 6 years old.

Ignite: members of the congregation aged from around 6 up to about 10 years old.

Fizz: older children in the congregation aged over 10.

Fusion: That's what we call it when we all get together. We try to do that about once a month most of the year, and more or less every week in the Summer holidays.

We meet just before 10.30 every Sunday morning, except when it's a family service when everyone is in church together for the whole service.

Usually we meet in our groups first and all go into church together to share the first part of the service with the grown ups.  Then we go into our groups for some fun and to learn about Jesus and the Bible in our own way.

When there is a Holy Communion service though we usually stay in our groups until the adult service gets to that stage.  Then we join the grown ups for Communion and stay to the end of the service instead.

If you're visiting church and want to give Sunday Club a try you'll be very welcome.  You can always ask the person who greets you when you arrive, or any of the stewards with name badges you will see around the church, to introduce you to one of the Sunday Club team.  Or if you need to speak to someone beforehand, or you have any questions about Sunday Club please contact the office and we'll put you in touch with someone who can help you.
